I have recently been searching various archives in London for information about the role of the Royal Flying Corps during the Great Arab Revolt. Several useful documents have been found that give an insight into their activities during this period and their reconnaissance flights along the Hejaz rail road. From this raw data it has been possible to deduce some of the objectives of their campaign and understand a little about what their primary objectives were.
